I thought Obama took everything that is going up in cost out of the inflation index.
Only the ones that really affect eople-food, gas, housing. . . .
The progressive always seems to fail to understand that government cannot create wealth. Creating money is not the same thing. It is like splitting a stock. The two new shares are equal to the one from which they originated. There is no additional value.
They should go with one party system and just call themselves the Sleezocrats.

Right in line with all the others except Regan. Spend what you don't have. It's time for a Constitutional Amendment for a balanced federal budget with an exception of time of war. Which must be declared by Congress, not the President.
In the amendment needs to be a provision for line item vetoes for budgetary issues only. Until this is done. Most of the so called elected officials will only do what's in their best interest. Their electorate be damned.
So the next time some talking political ass hole is talking about the budget, why not ask them to introduce this amendment in Congress. Then watch to see if they stutter or squirm and try to get off the hook to answer. Nearly all will.
