So interesting that the papers ALSO showed the same trends in legacy students and students of big donors to the school. Given that Duke was an all whoite school forever, I would imagine most of those legacy and big donorr kids are white. How come no one finds this "alienating and painful" to them?
Hey, don't want to tax thier minds too much. They might decide crime would be easier to make a living at. Just let them take courses in basket weaving , pottery, dead plant floralist, rock polishing. Anything that has to do with math, science, mechanics or having to study a subject longer than 15 minutes a day is just going to burn them out mentally. Remember, they can't set them up for failure that would be racist.
Has a lot more to do with the soft racism of low expectations on the part of the liberal teaching establishment. Kids who aren't prepared for college are going to have to ratchet back if they want to graduate.
The true raaaacism is that the lib teachers think that black kids need special accommodations in order to graduate high school. They just need to be pushed to learn -- both from within and without -- just like any other kid.

Have they fired the 88 professors who singed a petition condemning ReadeSeligmann, Colin Finnerty, & Dave Evans? Those were the Duke Lacrosse players who were FALSELY accused of rape by a stripper/protitute. That school needs to be cleaned up, big time.
No, Duke did not fire the 88 lying professors and the professors never apologized for their calumnies and misrepresentations. They should have been fired or denied tenure but on a politically correct campus like Duke they can't be touched.
