Occupy SF protesters to open “People’s Reserve Credit Union.” Some folks are about to learn the lessons of banking reality the hard way. The road to economic hell is paved with foolish bankers. Your money may be safer stuffed into one of their mattresses.

"People's Reserve Credit Union", "People's Park", "The People's Daily", "People's Republic". The needle on my bullsh*t meter always goes into the red when I hear the word "People's".
The more the Left talks about "The People", the more power is taken away from real people.
To bad they can't be bothered to pay the "People's taxes".
Maybe "The Rock" could drop "The People's Elbow" on them until they do pay their taxes.
Oh shoot! I'm talking to myself again.
Isn't that some of the most expensive real estate in the country? They're going to use a "former Social Security Administration storefront." I'd like to see where the tentacles lead from that little lease arrangement.
Anyone read the story? Their business model isn't a bank. It's a commune. I'm just curious about the adding 1000 jobs to the city payroll comment. Whose district does this little enterprise sit in? Like Kathy said, follow the $.
Oh that's the 8th. Pelosi hangs there right?
What I find fascinating is how these folks are able to live on the streets for months, how are they paying for their food, bills, cell phones, etc., the news media hasn't asked how are they able to afford this, I can only speculate that Soros, SEIU, Van Jones are behind the movement, if so how is the $ getting distributed, how can the OWS afford to purchase anything, and wouldn't that make them capitalist? Follow the $.
Some are getting paid to be there.
I'm surprised one of their leaders haven't embezzled the cash yet, takes a lot of money to stay in a 4 star hotel.
Actually, their assets should be seized & be used to pay for the cost of cleanup & civic services that have been needed because of these a-holes.
Are they planning on putting someone elses money in said bank ?
What a sad , very sad bunch . If they had something to offer to society that was worth anything , maybe , just maybe things would be different for them. The sad part is they don't understand that its never too late to change your ways. But they don't want to. They want the good life , without the thought , effort or work to make that happen.
As the Moody Blues song goes --- " We're living in the land of make believe , trying not to let it show..... "
Their bank would be truly amusing.
"I'd like to make a withdrawal, man."
"How many lids you gonna buy, man?"
"Dude, I'm gonna get me another iPhone, dude, and mom and dad shut me off, man."
"Like totally uncool, man, don't they know speech has gotta be free, man?"
"Yeah, they told me I had to get a job, and that I still haven't paid them back for last month's iPhone."
"Well, man, you gotta put your 'X' on the paper, man, so we know that it was you that took your money."
"Dude, it's me, you gotta trust me, man."
"OK, man, Peace Out."
I'm going to apply for a loan. Of course, if I got some money from them, and I don't make my payments, they'll occupy my front yard. But I have a water hose.
These "Occupiers" got it all figured out. Open a bank, next step bankrupt it and lobby Maxine Waters for a "too big to fail" bail out loan for a couple billion, DONE!! Your stupid movement is financed and several millionaires are made at no cost to anyone because "The Government is paying for it". I wish the Tea Party would knock off all the goody two shoes type posturing and take a lesson or two from these sleazes, maybe then we could win over some hearts and minds!!
By "people's" they mean theirs and no one else's. Communists, they're so funny with their word use.
Maybe we can sue them in "The People's Court".
Next comes the protesters going to court because the "People's Reserve Credit Union" ran off with their money and either gave it to the collective or bought a Porsche.
