State Dep. employee Maria Otero stonewalled the investigation but officials persevered and discovered that federal funds were used to promote abortion in Kenya. Given past Obama reactions to criminal activity, we expect a quick promotion for Ms. Otero.

I don't get it. I would think if anything Obama would want to promote the birth of another Obama.

True, but it seems to me that they are trying to prevent another mistake like this one.
Imagine that, another scandal and ignoring the laws of the land from this administration. It will take six months of daily cleaning to remove the smell of shit from all the offices that this administration is currently occupying when they are finally pushed out.
