Wow. The National Guard has had to curtail gunnery weapons qualifications with live ammunition due to budget cuts. This is a yearly requirement for Combat Brigades. Fuel allocations for training have been cut. Training days have been reduced.
This reduces readiness.
But on the other hand, as long the royals at the W.H. are having fun (again) on the taxpayer's dime, who cares?
And the Air Force has suspended traning flights for bomber and fighter pilots.
I bet the pilot and crew for AF1 still enjoys all their perks.

How about some limits be established on the number and cost of vacations the POTUS can take in any given year. He's taken more vacations in 5 years than I will have taken in my entire life.
He has also played more golf in 4 years than I have since 1983.

After a strenuous week of...fundraising...Mr. and Mrs. BO certainly deserve a little R&R on the taxpayers' dime. And to prepare for the coming battle with Congress over the budget, the Prez will no doubt need a few rounds of golf and some celebrity face time before next week, or whenever it is he gets around to sending his budget proposal to The Hill.
