  • Just calling them racists in return is ineffective. Displaying examples of bi-racial conservative families is HUGELY effective. I was impressed by that collective effort.

    Displaying bigotry against gays is counterproductive. Its one small leap, in the liberal mind, to assume that anti-gay sentiment is paired with racist thinking, as both are examples of bigotry (just as MSNBC assuming right-wing is raaacist).

    I've been saying that the GOP is leaving votes on the table, for years, because some of its members will not let up on the gays. Unfortunately, it is difficult to disentangle these political realities from religious belief.

    • The Great Commission for a true Christian involves convincing the world that without Christ you are lost. The evidence of being lost is sin. A sinner must be convicted of his sin to be saved. There is the argument that homosexuality is not sin, but it is listed as such in the old and new testament. The progressive movement in America is very involved in presenting homosexuals on TV as normal upright and just downright loveable people for a reason. They are being used as a very effective tool to smear Christians as bigots and hate mongers. When sin is condemned by Christians all of it is included. The progressives only hear homosexual and begin their assault. There are prophesies it will get worse and that it is a sign of end times. That means it's even more urgent to get your loved ones saved. I have a lesbian sister that I pray for, talk to about her sin and love dearly. I, like Jesus wish all could be saved but man was created with a freewill. There is nothing wrong with trying to change that will toward God.

  • The racist on the left are at it again for all to see. Where's the outrage, the hearings, the presidential phone call?

    Conservatives for the most part see the actions and minds of those we come in contact. The left, communist or progressive only see skin color, gender or sexual orientation?

    • well, maybe i'm not a conservative, but i don't think i'm a liberal, or a racist, especially after cleaning KimmyQ's dandruff out my face this past week*. Fact of the matter is I happen to see the actions, skin color, gender AND sexual functionality. If that makes me a racist well then, Kimmy forget the footnote. :) What I don't see is ppls' minds. I have seen ppl brains before. I do know everybody's bones are white, their blood is red. Pinch us do we not blush, prick us do we not haul of and knock the fool outta you, put your finger up our noses do you not come back with boogers?

  • I saw a whole stream of responses to this last night on a couple websites, basically some nice conservative mixed race families shoved the tweet up MSNBC's ass and MSNBC had to take it down and apologize AGAIN for being dumber than a box of dog crap......Why is it the left is soooo racist? insecurity? mental problems? no other reason to exist?

    • Obama is actually the perfect example of racism. MLK wanted people judged by their character, not by the color of their skin. I wholeheartedly agree. So every one of the idiots who voted for O because he was black spit on everything MLK stood and died for.

      • I place a large chunk of the blame on the MSM for not vetting Obama. Hannity was the only one on TV during the primaries trying to expose the empty suit and he was demonized for it.

        • My bet is that it will take at least 2 decades after he's out of office to actually get the truth about this loser.

  • Yeah, as another conservative in a biracial family I could add to the Twitter pushback if I thought there was any point. But there isn't. You can't dissuade people from expressing beliefs they don't actually believe in the first place.

    • They can't let it go. Without their false outrage about a phony scandal, they have nothing to use against the right.
