This story is another example of why I've never been high on lawyers.

As a Libertarian, someone wants to smoke a little, I don't care. My only thing is, I wish there were a breathalyzer like device to test if they are high or not while driving. Don't drink and drive and don't drive while high. Don't put others in danger with your stupidity.
Honestly, in my younger days, I could get weed like it was nothing, buying a pack of smokes, well that was a hassle. Why? The government regulated it. It's that simple, legalize and regulate and sure enough you'll have less of it.

The tests they employ for drug use really suck. Cocaine and heroine, as well as virtually all the 'hard' drugs are metabolized out of the system in a few days, while weed will stick with you for weeks. Some people test dirty for pot 6 and 7 weeks after exposure. Drunk driving is awful, but the one size fits all determining BAC is bull feces.
If the drug problem wasn't such a great boon for the prison industrial complex, never overlooking the wonderful jobs thousands of people have putting pot smokers behind bars with hardened gang members and murderers, perhaps the government would obey the will of the people. But they're not prone to that behavior at all anymore.
