  • LOL...I read that this morning then went to the comments. Some of the people were so lame, talking about respect for the Obummer and such crap, that I left it alone. Some people are so liberal, or dumb, that they have never learned that respect must be earned. It isn't a gimme just because of a persons station in life, especially an elected position, it must be earned.

• I knew the kid came from a messed-up liberal family situation as soon as I saw the hyphenated name. Which by the way most news sources aren't printing as a hyphenated name. The media knows that a hyphenated name on a male child screams "LIBERAL FAMILY" and they don't want Americans knowing about that.

  • Bingo! First I heard of it was on the radio, and the hyphenated name was a dead giveaway. I said to my lady, "another leftist gone off his meds."

• I had a very rude and decidedly unsympathtic saying I used to use on those whiny cyrbaby soldiers that were any platoon sergeant's nightmare; you know the ones whereof I speak: the ones who claimed to be ideologically opposed to war, but were in a combat MOS, or the ones who, over night, became CO's (conscientious objectors), or the ones who claimed they'd only joined up for the benefits, or the ones who had a politically well connected parent. I would tell them to their faces that they could "Look sympathy up in the dictionary somewhere between shit and syphilis, but they were'nt going get any from me!" "Now pack your gear, complete your deployment paperwork and meet me outside in five minutes, or you'll regret ever being born!". My other favorite saying was: " If I want any shit from you soldier, I'll squeeze your f***ing head!" I always suspected them of having daddy issues. After a while you can just tell.

  This "grieving" "dad" sounds very much like one of the very crybaby soldiers I had in my platoon, back in the day. l helped him shorten his tour of duty and find an early "general less than honorable" discharge from the service; specifically because of his blubbering and bally-hooing, oh, and the fact that he would go AWOL, whenever he was on a duty roster.
