so i work on broadway right across from zucotti park. wednesday a man "caressed" my hand as i walked by. and on friday someone spit on my coat. in both cases the person disappeared immediately and i was standing there with no possible help from anyone. these incidents are quick quiet and upsetting. it is not funny!
The group in the park does not care about me or anyone else in the neighborhood. but they would like everyone else to "care" about them. the way i see it respect is mutual-not one way. WHAT A BUNCH OF LOSERS
I know how to clear Zuccotti park.
Offer it for free to the Hells Angels for a weekend long party. No police within 5 blocks of the park and the city will clean up afterwards.
The only problem will be for the city workers to sort out the protesters from the trash in the dumpsters.
Then when they see the success of this program, all the rest of the occupied cities will follow suit.
That would definitely cull the herd.

I'll say it again: We have yet to see a single OWS accomplishment other than a rolling crime wave, filth, rambling nonsense, and the disgust of most everyone who is unfortunate enough to encounter them. They have not helped the community in any way. They do not get along well with anyone outside their movement, much less each other. They are destroying every place they are encamped. They do nothing positive for anyone.
The SF occupy group should pay for the damage with the funds they just deposited in a Wells Fargo account. No kidding. $20,000. Oh the sad irony.

I believe that your paradigms are correct. For those on the right and left the case has been made. It is the middle that will have to chose, let us hope they chose wisely.
What the shop owner should have done was lock the door and charge for exiting the business.
Ya know, I'm gonna shift paradigms here and go in a direction we have so far denied. I am ready to stipulate that the Occupiers are indeed the Left's equivalent of the Tea Party. In the sense that both represent the real heart, soul, and core ethos of the Left and Right, respectively. This filthy excuse for a man -filthy both literally and figuratively- intrudes onto another's property, demands things for no more reason than that someone else has them and he they does not, and leaves the place in an un-sanitary shambles with no regard for the proprietor. If that is not the very essence, the un distilled raw philosophy of the Left and of Dear Leader himself- stripped of all its high-sounding philosophical jargon. . . . I'll vote for the lousy bastard.
