Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak says Israel has a responsibility to try and ease tensions in the region and find a way to resume negotiations with the Palestinians. His comments come in response to remarks U.S. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta made Sunday He said that Israel is becoming increasingly isolated and must do more to work with its neighbors. For Israel to compromise any more with their neighbors they’d have to start bombing their own discotheques.

Israel has no neighbors, those who are around their borders and nearby are essentially all enemies or frenemies. Israel needs to stop bending over and kissing ass. All they need to do is make sure they keep innovating in war offensive and defensive ways, make sure they can continue to feed and water themselves and be healthy even in really bad circumstances and keep praying (first and foremost). Their enemies are not going to ease up and they are not going to care for any type of liason if anything they will consider that weakness.
Leon Panetta for defense secretary is like having Ted Bundy babysit your kids. Hes a Kalifornia career politician who couldn't get elected anymore so he gets appointed..that's the Obama way, recycle the liberals instead of throwing them out.
I thought recycling was the act of taking something that had outlived it's usefulness, and remaking it into something useful?
They just remade Panette into something equally as useless as before.
What more can they do with "neighbors" who have sworn to literally wipe them off the map? You bet they're isolated! Its a survival technique.
