• "when the time is right" When is that? If she really has serious information for the betterment of the country (not just her own party) then she should be blabbbing it everywhere. If not, shut up. And as far as ethics violations, I don't think the Democrats have much room for accusing others. Seriously, Pots, meet Kettle.

• She is going to tweet a picture of Newt's wiener she took while hiding in the men's locker-room at the capital. That's how she spends her time and that's why she didn't know what was in the health care bill....It's hard to read in the linen closet when you looking thru a peephole.

• I'd like to see somebody find some of Ole' Plastic Face's dirty deals, and put them out there. From what I understand Her and her husband are Billionaires.

• Maybe she'll reveal how Newt blocked voted on bills that would reduce profits for stocks that he had recently got in on the IPOs for. Ooops, wrong speaker.

  What I'm tired of is the MSM attempting to cherry pick the Republican nominee and the Republican Party letting them do it. I say, lets just have an old fashion knock down drag out. Best person wins. Screw all these damn primaries and caucuses.

  Just have one day for voting, winner takes all. Who ever gets 51% of all the votes is the big winner and then the focus can turn to defeating the empty suit that is currently in the White House.

    Seems to me like Republican primary voters are fully capable of making up their own minds. Is this not the case?

      • True that, for most.. But does the middle vote in Iowa caucuses? I sure don't.

        • No, but nobody wants to put in a candidate that is unelectable, either. Therefore, a lot of attention is paid to what the middle thinks. This onslaught of stories about "Mitt, the front runner", and "Mitt, the presidential-looking candidate" is skewing that, and it is wholly intentional. Exactly like how, when unemployment was holding steady at 3.5% under W, the stories were all about growing unemployment, and now that it is about 20% (I include the people that have given up), the stories are about how things are improving.

          Journalists don't have to write ham-handedly slanted stories to demonstrate journalistic malpractice -- they are perfectly capable of manipulating public opinion by changing standards of what they report on. W's popularity was holding steady at ~20 to 30% for years, all the while it was presented as falling, and Congress' was at 14%. Why not report on that? Well, it was a Democrat congress, wouldn't do to mention that as bad as W was seen, Congress was worse...

          All of the positive coverage of Mitt makes me want to puke. I don't think he's the best candidate by a long shot. His attempt to minimize RomneyCare is ludicrous -- foolish at best. He could have dealt with the issue and had the Tea Party accepting it and loving him for it with one statement*. Instead he is trying to pander to what some oddball echo chamber of "Republican Values Experts" who don't have any idea at all what our values are. Much like trying to get votes by stirring up gay hatred, instead of focusing upon good government.

          *No, I'm not his mother, so what that statement is is an exercise for the reader. Not that it matters, anymore -- he's already thrown a cornerstone of his governorship under the bus, he'd look like a total moron trying to backpedal on it.

• What this proves is that the Liberals/communist/progressives are the enemy and cannot be reasoned or worse compromised with. They must be beat and we will have to stoop to their level to win. If we keep taking the 'high road' then the country will be over as we know it.

  The Liberals/communist/progressives will scorch the earth to get their two tiered populace in place. We have to fight fire with fire because the world they want to bring about is EVIL.

And because we have serious misgivings about a serial adulterer, who's been sanctioned multiple times for ethics violations (including by his own party) in the past, now being embraced by the GOP?

    That's a curious attitude. But, then again, today's far right embraces a backwards-and-upside-down view of the facts. So of course some of you are going to say that objecting to unethical politicians is "evil." And, what's more, you'll believe it.

      I guess the guy that works his way up from the inside in a company to become an executive was rich when he started out?
      What about all the women that they keep featuring on the morning "news" shows that started their own company with just an idea?
      There are millions of "rags to riches" success stories in this country, but because a relative few are either too lazy, drugged up, or stupid to improve themselves, you make it sound like nobody can succeed!

• Oh please, please let it be devastating! If we get stuck with Gingrich...if we the people actually choose him as the Republican nominee we deserve what we get. He is an opportunist plain and simple. He will play to whoever's payroll he's on. He is a RINO. He has major morality issues and sold out the Tea party candidate for Dede Scozzafuzzybear because she was a "Republican". He will do what is politically expedient. Oh dear God please let the voters come to their senses before this travesty of a candidate becomes the nominee...

• Wow! One former House Speaker to another! Now you know they fear Newt if they are going to wait until they see how far he gets in the Nomination process before they release the dirt... Or else they have nothing and want us to think they do... You know what? I bet it is top secret stuff from when he was speaker. It would be just up her alley to do some crud like that!
