Liberals hate to be told the truth and conservatives hate to be lied to. That, I think, more than anything prevents the liberal from ever wanting to face reality and why it can suck to be a conservative.

If that statement alone is not enough to send a chill down the collective spine of the population then I have to lay some of the blame for what's going on squarely on the shoulders of the people. We seem to have collectively lost our ability and willingness to apply any critical thinking to what comes out of the government and MSM- choosing instead to shut off our reasoning centers and taking in the toxic propaganda as though it were gospel.
I recall reading about how, at the end of WWII, allied troops took some German citizens on tours of nearby concentration camps to let them see for themselves what their collective inattention had enabled. What those horrified people witnessed was the end game of an anti-Jew propaganda campaign that successfully instilled the notion that the Jews were a dangerous enemy that needed to be dealt with as though they were a pestilence. The process was incremental with the Jews first being blamed for all that had befallen Germany- everything from the Treaty of Versailles that ended WWI as being a Jewish conspiracy to hyperinflation in the early 20's was an attempt by Jews to destroy the German economy. I could dig for more examples and fill an entire page... the notion that we as a people were somehow evolved beyond being capable of repeating anything like that was the general premise that the reader was supposed to get. Unfortunately the seeds of a repeat have long been planted and the creeping scourge of progressivism has taken root in far too many minds- the possibility is all to real that we are repeating history. The Conservative is the new Jew; the gun owner, the patriot, the tea party member have become the new Jews and our treasodent fuhrer Adolph Barack Hussein Øbama presides over the mechanism that is already targeting the new Jew for special treatment- for undue scrutiny based on criteria that is supposed to be Constitutionally (another new Jew buzzword) protected.
Clearly that Constitution is no longer in play.
Now to the health care that the likes of "Stretch" Pelosi worked so tirelessly to ram down our throats... with details so purposefully obscured prior to passage that even those casting "yea" votes didn't know the contents of what they setting us all up for an endoscope chaser. We have another federal agency that would have us believe that it intends to administer health coverage equitably- this is the same body whose agencies- the IRS, OSHA, and others shared information to target folks whose tax exempt applications tipped off their political leanings- and to this, the fourth Reich as enemies of the "state". The same entity that has subjected the organizer of "True The Vote" and her family to undue scrutiny and harassment will be responsible for administering her and her family's health coverage.
Cynical me see this as very much a cost cutting move in two respects. First, such inconvenient elements can be denied treatments simply by hanging their applications for life saving treatments in red tape until it's too late. Second, exterminating the new "Jew" will be a matter of bureaucratic stalling. Granted, it wouldn't work as efficiently as shipping them to co0ncentration camps and using gas chambers but think of all the federal dollars saved by not having to build them... heck, our all-benevolent Nobel Peace Prize usurping fuhrer can transfer that savings to fixing the infrastructure... no wait, what am I thinking???.... it can go to the Obamacare slush fund! Government health care in the hands of these thugs amounts to 21st century extermination of the new Jew.
The best thing is that the outside entity that invades and rescues us from the Progressivist Nazis won't have any concentration camps to force is citizens to tour- clearly the general population lacks the collective guts to stand up to these tyrants and the MSM has shown that it is in bed with this usurping of what was once a representative republic based on democratic principles- so I see that we're most likely fated to ride this thing out to its bitter end.
