The excuse of "I told my superiors" is just that a damn excuse. Mike McQuery should be ashamed of himself for not being a man and stepping in to protect a 10 year old boy. McQuery's father should be ashamed of Mike and ashamed of himself for not reporting what was witnessed to the police and only going to Joe Paterno. A decent human being would have contacted the police as well as protective services. Right is right and wrong is wrong.

Yet yesterday many Penn State students demonstrated (almost rioted) in support of Coach Paterno. Apparently the continued success of the Penn football program is more important than bringing a criminal pedophile and his enablers to justice. It's beyond shameful.
