Phone Company ‘Outraged’ By Fraud, Abuse In ‘Obamaphone’ Program

• It's an Obamaphone, fraud, waste, lies and cheating are expected.....

  • They are featured in the company prospectus.

    They were also what the business plan was built on.

• The only "outrage" is they finally got caught.

• Hell, they advertise this program on the radio where I live. This is just more corrupt BS and I could tell that as soon as I first heard about it.

  • Radio, TV, and direct mailings. I have been bombarded by mail from Safelink for months, I keep sending it back to them in the postage paid envelope.

    • Part of me wants to stuff junk mail into junk mail like that and send it back so they have to pay extra postage.

      • My dad used to save all the junk mail and postage paid envelopes for a week, and on Saturday, he would stuff the mail from one into an envelope from another, and send it all back. I don't get that much of that kind of mail these days, so they get back what they sent. At least I'm costing them money.

        • I think I am going to start doing this now. I'll convince the wife to save the mail.

          Takes me less than ten minutes to do and it makes me feel good.
