Piers Morgan: Say, I guess government can become tyrannical after all

Piers Morgan: Say, I guess government can become tyrannical after all. “I’ve had some of the pro-gun lobbyists on here, saying to me, ‘Well, the reason we need to be armed is because of tyranny from our own government,’ and I’ve always laughed at them,” Morgan said last night. “But, actually, this is vaguely tyrannical behavior by the American government.” Anybody who thinks anybody can be trusted with unchecked power just hasn’t been paying attention for the last century or so.

Bonfire of the Absurdities: After 35 year career writing software for IBM mainframes, am now self-employed contractor thinking of joining a union and striking for higher wages. Cured morbid fear of heights when I learned to look at them as lengths standing on end. Uncompromising in refusal to accept browser cookies. Amateur investor who has accumulated a small fortune in the market after starting out years ago with a large one. • Oh my that must have hurt Piers to utter those words. Wonder if during the commercial that followed did Morgan gargle and then brush his teeth?

These 3 back to back to back scandals are just the tip of the iceberg. The whole dim wit party is involved in the IRS scandal and in order to protect their collective asses they will attempt to cover the other 2.

  • What a buffoon. He is equally ignorant on both US and English history. Ever hear of the "Divine Right of Kings"?? That is considered tyranny too!!!!

  • This moron needs to revisit what happened in 1776 and why there was tyranny, who the problem was and what the result was.

    • "He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harrass our people, and eat out their substance." Hmm, that sounds familiar. If the Founding Fathers were alive today, we would be having a second revolution!

  • Forget it Piers...
    We won't forgive you-
You attack our rights, kiss all the ass you want, we still don't care.

  • Just beginning to figure this out now Piers? Don't say too much about it though, or you'll be getting a audit and a deportation order.
