Pilot: Brian Williams’ Helicopter Wasn’t Hit by RPG, But It Did Take Enemy Fire. So why didn’t he just tell the truth? Oh yeah, a hit from an RPG sounds so much better. This also raises questions about whether his copter was an hour behind the one that took the RPG hit or not. We’ll see what shakes out and post the verdict.

I think what he meant to say was not that he took enemy fire while on a chopper but that he had an enema in the pooper and his ass is on fire. Guess you're not supposed to use draino for that procedure.....

Exactly. The guy CNN interviewed who claimed he was the pilot of the helicopter Williams was in, was not really the pilot that day. So he's a complete fraud the lefties have invented to save Williams's butt.
This whole thing is getting ridiculous. If anything, his Katrina fabrications are even worse than his Iraq fabrications. The guy is clearly a pathological liar.
Your probably partially right, someone somewhere in da Goobermint went to this guy and took advantage of him to get him to help Williams out. From the looks of it they used this pilot and now he is disposable. Between the loons in government and the loons at the networks, they just don't care. they are out to save their own ass and they don't give a damn about who they destroy along the way!
The CNN reporter followed up with Krell after the other pilots called into question his version of events. Here's Krell's response (looks like the guy is really suffering from PTSD so I am giving him a break on what he could and could not recall):
Per the CNN Reporter: I text-messaged Krell before dawn, and asked him to call me as soon as he woke up. Krell replied with this text: “Good morning. The information I gave you was true based on my memories, but at this point I am questioning my memories that I may have forgotten or left something out. . . For the past 12 years I have been trying to forget everything that happened in Iraq and Afghanistan; now that I let it back, the nightmares come back with it, so I want to forget again. . . The men in that article deserve respect. Please understand.”
I read in several other places today that this Krell guy is lying. He was a pilot, he may have flown Lyin' Brian on occasion, but other pilots are saying that Krell was not Williams pilot on the day in question. Supposition is that Krell is aiming for a job at MSNBC or the Obama Administration.
He wants to fill in for Sharpton, and has the hots for Madcow.
