Please sign the petition to keep Obama and his family safe by making the White House a gun-free zone. According to them, passing mere laws will solve everyone’s problems and all the bad guys will comply. This is BS, as evidenced by the fact we still need courts, jails and police. We say make them live up to their propaganda and see how they like reality.

I like it. Like Karmaa has already pointed out, it will go nowhere but it does highlight the doublestandard and hypocrisy.
This is so clever. Not that it will do anything at all, but it is so smart. It completely points out the absurdities of the gun control debate, and the hypocrisy of the ones who want to strip our freedom and defenses from us, and it does it in such a simple and elegant way. Sadly, only people who are smart enough to understand these things already will see the ridiculousness of this whole topic.
I signed it. The 25,000 threshold is grandfathered for this and any other petition posted before the new limit.
As of this morning the count is 25,452 signatures.

As I write this, just over 1,000 signatures needed to hit the 25K for the White House staff to officially ignore it. I noticed the signature count for an official "reply" has been raised from 25,000 to 100,000.
Well, if we joined ACORN (or whatever it's called this week) we can each sign 40 or 50 times. Hey, I'm signing as Mickey Mouse, Adolf Hitler AND the Dallas Cowboys!
