When people have to forcefully pay for the benefit of others is sucks. You DO want to take care of other people, but shouldn't have to be forced to do it. There are other options here. Sadly society has been geared and transformed towards more and more government bigger and more powerful and all encompassing it is hard to get government to get small again.
The laws of economics are as immutable as the laws of gravity, you can't necessarily see them, but you can feel their effects and just like gravity, you can insist they don't exist and jump off of that skyscraper just to prove your point and it all looks great until you meet the pavement.
Sounds like sticker shock is Multi-generational, and even if your under 26 and can still sponge off your parents insurance, if they lose their coverage, your still screwed.

Finding out that they will have to fund this legislation is a shocker to many. All they vaguely remember hearing is how rich Republicans need to pay their fair share. It must be a real let down to find out that it isn't free and that they'll help foot the bill. Just wait until people actually start trying to use the coverage. That's when the real catfu*k will begin.
