Pope Comes Out Against Carbon Credits, Disappoints True Eco-Believers. This just made life harder for the Church of Global Warming.
The best news here is that the pope says no to carbon credits and carbon tax credit trading, a key liberal obsession for years. Al Gore was probably on the phone with his portfolio manager in Dubai at 1 a.m. Eastern time today, dumping some of his vast green equity holdings. The encyclical also strongly rebukes abortion and dismisses arguments for population control as a proper response or viable solution to global poverty. The New York Times story saves these elements for a single paragraph at the end of their long love letter to the pope, clearly hoping nobody will read that part.

The Pope is still a Communist moron.
The Pope is at least honest. He wants a reduction in consumption, not a shuffle allowing some to.use other's tax credits to.continue their high consumption unabated, while others, mostly the very poor, get screwed. You may not agree with his stance, but you ha v e to give him points for not being manipulated by the uber rich.
He wouldn't be manipulated by the rich, he's a communist and he hates rich people, he is more likely to do and say anything against rich people.
True...But can you imagine how pissed the Gioricle is right now? I bet there is steam (CO2) coming out of the Goricle's orifices....
So, business as usual?
That was part of the Rev. Al's money making scheme to defraud nations while lining his own pockets.
