Pope on Trump: Anyone who wants border walls isn’t Christian. The Pope has now interjected himself and the Catholic Church into U.S. politics. Shouldn’t the Catholic Church now receive an IRS audit and lose their 501 (c) (3) tax-free status? Oh, and where’s the left screaming about the separation of church and state?

Tax-Exempt Status
Churches and religious organizations, like many other charitable organizations, qualify for exemption from federal income tax under IRC Section 501(c)(3) and are generally eligible to receive tax-deductible contributions. To qualify for tax-exempt status, the organization must meet the following requirements (covered in greater detail throughout this publication):
*the organization must be organized and operated exclusively for religious, educational, scientific or other charitable purposes;
*net earnings may not inure to the benefit of any private individual or shareholder;
* no substantial part of its activity may be attempting to influence legislation;
* the organization may not intervene in political campaigns; and
*the organization’s purposes and activities may not be illegal or violate fundamental public policy.

As a human being he is allowed to have an opinion, but his opinion is wrong and extremely faulty of logic. I have said before that I tend to give old ass people a pass when they say stupid ass things. The problem is his position and that his position gives the stupid ass things he says A LOT of weight and there are a lot of stupid ass people that give his weighted statements a lot of consideration that shouldn't be given. That is problematic. So he needs to be more measured in what he says.
I don't believe that Trump is a Christian, that is my opinion, however I am humble enough to realize that I cannot know that for sure so in the end regardless of my opinion, the truth is known to Trump and the Lord G-D alone. However, building a wall or a fence or destroying a bridge to prevent attacks on a country's sovereignty IS NOT a good measurement to dictate if a person is a Christian or not. Protecting people and keeping people from hurting people is actually a very Christian thing to do.
Trump is right that better physical walls and actual respect of the laws need to be done in order to protect this country. Trump is not right when he panders to Christians and Christians that allow him to pander to them are wrong for that.
This pontiff is acting consistent with his role as globalist tool. I suspect those globalists have to some extent co opted the Catholic Church.
I read an article (was it something posted here in IHTM?) that said leftist cardinals had been plotting to put one of their own on the throne for decades. Obviously, with this dipshit, they have succeeded. And did you notice what happened when Francis took office? A few conservative cardinals were immediately sent packing. That's what the left always does: once they win, they make sure they can never lose in the future.
Another reason that although I was raised Catholic, I don't participate in the church any more.

So, by his own confession the Pope is not a Christian.
1) the media is misrepresenting what the Pope actually said
2) he never mentioned Trump by name
3) he spoke in generalities
4) His statement followed the pattern that if one said "x" without "y" then "z".
5) he said since he doesn't know what anyone actually said about any wall, the he would give them the benefit of the doubt.
So this is another non-troversy, nothing burger being pushed by the media.
The Pope was specifically asked about Trump and demurred, it's true. But that means the context of the question about the wall was about Trump and anyone else who thinks the U.S. has a right to stop the rampant flow of immigrants from those Latin American shitholes the Pope identifies with. Whether you agree that he was commenting about Trump or wall builders in general, you have to admit the hypocrisy from a guy who lives in the most walled-in place on Planet Earth is mammoth. It certainly bothers me that he stood at the Mexican-U.S. border and lectured the U.S. rather than Mexico.
As a Jesuit and a Socialist, the only thing this Pope is really concerned with is finding someone to support the poor people that Socialism/Communism has failed. He doesn't care who it is, or how they got their money, he just wants it redistributed to his people. Of course, he fails to see the irony of how the Capitalists manage to have a good standard of living, while the Socialists are living in squalor, but he wants everyone to live under Socialism, which can't be self supporting, they need Capitalists to pay for everything.
It seems rather obvious who he was talking about to me and lots of others. The church is even backpedalling.
This Pope is such an anti-American, un-Christian, communist douchebag it's unbelievable. THIS is why the Church never before allowed a Jesuit onto the Papal throne: they're academic leftwingers who only barely adhere to Catholic doctrine. Historically, quite often the Church considered excommunicating or ending the Jesuit order--they certainly didn't want one running the place. Sheesh.
The thing that bothers me the most is the leftwing Latin American parochialism: like every other leftwing Latin American douchebag, the Pope recently traveled to Cuba and acted like those cutthroat despots were somehow deserving of respect. Did he say anything about allowing desperate Cuban refugees to leave Cuba and chase their dreams? Did he lecture the Castro brothers about freedom and individual liberty? Hell no, he gave them a pass, then has the audacity to lecture the country everyone wants into. This Pope sucks.
I was raised Catholic, and had always had respect for the Popes, even though I may have disagreed with some of what they said. Pope Paul VI is the first Pope I remember, and even though he did things that really shook up the Church, he was still a man that earned our respect. This Pope is such a commie schmuck, that I no longer can have respect for the office, because it proves that even the Congress of Cardinals are subject to PC bullshit, and no longer subscribe to the tenets of the Church.
Time for the Church to surrender its tax exempt status. Why has John Koskinen not begun the process of removing such tax exempt status? The crickets are speaking volumes for the IRS.
If the Pope thinks walls are evil then why doesn't he tear the wall around the Vatican down? You don't see anyone sneaking into the Pope Palace, his wall is 40 feet tall and about 3 feet thick at the top.
