POPSCI: Republicans Block Proposal For National Science Laureate, Fearing Science. As avid readers of this publication it has pained us to watch the new editor steer it away from being a magazine for those enjoying a little light science to being a pulpit for the DNC. But in consideration for our years of fondness for these guys we would like to offer the following advice. If the science goes so will the popularity. And from a look at the comments the exodus has already begun.

Well I for one don't fear science, I fear JUNK science like this climate warming bullshit...Until scientists stop making up shit, we have a right to be skeptical..but again they are libturds and how dare us rednecks question their superior intelligence....Fuck em..most of them could not find their ass with a gps device, a map, a flashlight and seven undergraduate assistants...
I used to subscribe until they kept trying to convince me that the Dimocrats had our best interest in mind. It really bothers me because I am a bit of a science geek. I was very interested in the superconductor research, but it seems to have stalled. There were so many interesting articles in this magazine, but when they kept repeating the company line of the EPA, Globull Warming wackos, etc, I lost interest.
Geee that's too bad, sounds like they got shut down by the Tzar Nazi. No more bullshit tzars for you!!!
The commenters at the end of the article give me hope that people are indeed waking up or those already awake are doing what they can to wake up others.

My "favorite" commenter was the one who called all the others redneck high school dropouts who spend all their money on beer and beat their wives. Other than that, yes the comments give me hope.
I hope so. I liked this magazine better when it was less interested in politics.
The article says the position costs nothing, but then later we learn a "stipend" of $35,000 per year is expected, AND there will be THREE of them (so 3 x $35,000), AND they get travel expenses paid. So somewhere between $200,000 and half a million per year for three undoubtedly liberal whack-jobs to travel around under the guise of official authority brainwashing my grandchildren. No thanks.
Yeah, what could possibly be go wrong with this? I mean, there's no way to politicize this title is there?
We do not need another outlet for democrat party propaganda. The alphabet networks have that covered. Good move.
