Now they've found these things elsewhere: namely, by the White House and Senate.

17? I bet there are a hell of a lot more......
The article said one person traveled from Florida to South Carolina and found 8 on the trip. So, more than 17 is pretty much a no brainer.
The most disturbing thing is that these are near military bases, and there is a suspicion that they are run by OUR government! NSA anyone?
My first thought, too, but the article says no, not the NSA. The NSA apparently doesn't need fake cellphone towers as they can listen to anything they want directly from the source. So I'm thinking these must be foreign spies. I would guess Chinese because... well, it just sounds like a Chinese thing.
Or, it is the NSA doing just what we think they don't need to, to throw us off the scent. But then, it could be another government agency too.
