Professor terminated 2 days after publishing column skeptical of Global Warming. All the poor guy did was point out that Planet Earth hasn’t warmed in over 19 years and suggest that, consequently, Africa should use whatever kind of energy it wants. This is what they wrote him:
“We would like to inform you that we are terminating your position as an Associate Fellow of the Institute for Policy Studies… Unfortunately, we now feel that your views on key issues, including climate science, climate justice, and many aspects of U.S. policy to Africa, diverge so significantly from ours…”

This is the same result a student will get if they disagree with whatever b.s. the "professor" is touting, no matter how absurd. Well not fired, they want your money, but you pay in grades. I have fairly recent experience in that area. I eventually learned to either keep my mouth shut or simply avoid certain professors. It helps to check http://www.ratemyprofessor.com I found the ratings quite accurate for my school.
There goes the free flow of ideas and open debate. Wait, that's right the free flow and open debate are only in one direction. Proof again that leftist aren't about letting free ideas, opinions and debate be presented if it's not in line with their agenda.
