Have any of my friends here at IHTM noticed any resemblance 'tween his papal holiness and the old evil emperor from star wars? Might be his eyes or maybe my old failing memory in combination with crappy video components, but really, they do appear to be at least close in the facial recognition software. I was catholic until it was my decision to stop that - approximately 14 years of age. Back then the old pope guy didn't look as scary in the face. Could just be I didn't have a scary old emperor to compare him to. Leonid, ugly fak that he was, didn't rate.

One problem with liberal Christians is they think they can cozy up to unbelieving leftist radicals and convert them. Occasionally they can but the Occupy crowd is filled with Communists and atheists and far leftists who are virulently anti-religion. When Christ said not to throw your pearls before swine lest they rip you to pieces he was saying that believers are wasting their time with some people and that they should be shrewd enough to know it.
