Public School Paints Over Student Mural of ‘Offensive’ Traditional Family: History shows that the Russian Revolution promised peace, land and bread. History also shows that what their revolution brought was war, gulags and famine that had been planned as well as the sort that was merely the fault of poor planning. So is it any wonder that their modern day counterparts promised love, understanding and fairness while having delivered hate, bigotry and intolerance?

Before you do anything traditional you must first ask the world to find out who it might offend. Does this chill the First Amendment Freedom of speech? Of course it does.
Liberals want to chill freedom of speech because most of the nation is conservative, therefore most speech is conservative (with the exception of the very liberal news media). Selective CENSORSHIP is what liberal progressives want.
Girls need female role models and boys need guy role models.
They also need role models of the opposite sex to show them how they should treat and be treated by their mates. That is where many single parent households fail miserably. Kids see their fathers having a stream of different women running through their bedrooms, and disrespectful and abusive guys that are sleeping with their mothers. No wonder our kids have no morals.
I am divorced. I did not find this mural insulting or offensive. Was it offensive because they were white? Because they were married? Because they were heterosexual? Because their was a child )you know offinsive to thse with no children or whi can't have children?) Or because the child was a boy, not a girl? The other day my very liveral frined commented that we should quit worrying about offending someone with a chup on their shouldr and hold to the idea that children are BETTER OFF in a parent with 2 reasonably normal parents rather than in a single parent household. Girls need female role models and boys need guy role models. Wake UP and smell the coffee! She should repaint the entire wall black with the above mentioned censorship comment.
But wouldn't painting the wall black be offensive to WHITE people? (;-)

I don't know how this will end up, but I think this girl should paint a great big "CENSORED BY THE PC POLICE" where she intended the family to be. (Not that the school would let it stand, of course, but at least she'd get the message across for a brief time.)
If it were a picture of 2 gay men performing oral sex on a donkey, it would be considered great art, and hung in a museum.
Why the Good Lord hasn't wiped this sick planet clean and started over, is beyond me.

God forbid they would let a mural of a traditional family exist in a public school.
If more than one person complained I would be surprised. If that person was the son or daughter of a lesbian or a gay person who is militant I would not be surprised. Her painting was the life of an "average" male person. The average male person does not end up being gay that is just statistics. What is wrong with people?
I was right only one person complained, however not sure if it was the parent after the student told the parent about the mural and not sure if the parent is gay or something.
The artist's parents are divorced, however she still holds on to the ideal of family as it shows in her original mural. It is disgusting she had to apologize for that and she is not sure if she will put it as she originally planned either. This is really sad.
So what was the mural supposed to show? Two guys holding hands?
No wonder today's youth are almost illiterate, gender confused, pansies.
