Redford film exonerating Rather

Rather attends premiere of Redford film exonerating him for Memogate. They actually had the gall to title this piece of propaganda “Truth.” Blech. Nothing worse than watching two wrinkled old leftwing blowhards stroke each other in public.

    So the director is used to fiction and you can't make up things like the producing company is "Mythology Entertainment".

    A movie from the Spider Man guy that complains about the trivialization of the media. You can't be serious.

    By the way, Google, if you dare, Mary Mapes and compare her picture to Cate Blanchette.... Fozzy the bear or Will Ferrell would have been closer.

    They tried to assassinate a president. It is no more complex than that. They did a modern day hit on GW and thought they could get away with it.

    The interesting thing is that the address listed for Bush on one of the documents was an incorrect one. The only place that address appeared on the internet (using a time limited search on one of the defunct search engines), before the story broke, was that guy back east that had it on his voluminous website about GW. Low and behold, that was the guy that was working with the woman that the CBS audit found to have made the false documents. I found this in 30 minutes when the story broke and I could never get anyone in the press to chase it down.

    Bet they don't talk about that part of the story in the movie.

  • Rather is frantically trying to rewrite the history of what he did. Anyone involved in this is trash. Rather, Mapes, & now Redford are all Trash. It's nice to know the truth does not matter to many out there in the world of news & pop culture. They have down a nice job of letting me know this, & I can move on accordingly.

  • Thesse democrats/communists have to keep up the appearance that state-run Pravda is the truth. Any propaganda toward that end, like this movie kissing the lying Rather's ass, is OK with the party faithful.

    • This is how pathological liars make themselves feel better about being pathological liars...just tell some more lies and movies work best on the literately dysfunctional.

  • I'm surprised BO and Her Majesty weren't at the premiere, given their unwavering commitment to truth(except when it's inconvenient for them to tell it).

  • A movie will only exonerate him in the eyes of idiots. The truth is actually the truth no matter what this movie does...

    and what the hell happened to Robert Redford? Bitch was cute in the old movies I have seen with him. I mean Paul Newman still was very handsome (even though wrinkly and diseased right up to his death AND he was a liberal!) I mean seriously Robert Redford looks dreadful. Ugh...

    I hope his new movie sinks to the bottom of the dark pit and never sees the light of day...
