According to intelligence reports Saudi Arabia and its Gulf Arab allies have been pushing the US to strike Iran by year’s end. Saudis are reportedly afraid Iran will take over Iraq once the US leaves at year end. “Security experts say… Obama’s dogged drive to fulfill his campaign promise may have disastrous consequences both for the region and US interests.” Someday soon, we’re gonna wish we had that Keystone pipeline – not to mention someone other than a narcissistic nincompoop as a president.

How about the United Nations? Maybe they could come up with a resolution condemning Iran, or better yet, sanctions. See, no need for the US to get the whole world pissed off at us when we have the UN to issue some decree or another. That will certainly scare Imamajornutjob. If they cant, or Imamajornutjob is not intimidated, then they should abolish the entire effing worthless organization.
I see we have graduated from 'unnamed sources' to 'observers'. We've got retired heads of Israeli intelligence saying that attacking Iran would be a catastrophe and Russia saying it would consider an attack on Iran as if it were one on Russia itself ( and there are reasons of geopolitical strategy to think they may not be exaggerating much ). Has the bullshit that the nations without nuclear arms pose the real Danger !!!! If all of the Gulf Arab states want the US to take action, they need to man up and say so without any uncertainty. These states want our troops to do their dirty work for them all the time they will be saying how evil they are (troops) and we are (US Citizens). If they want this to happen they need to provide troops as well.
This also proves that they (Arab states) need us more than we actually need them. If this cowardly non friendly US citizens administration would allow for drilling and other exploration for energy these rulers would start to think about whom it is that actually looks out for them. It would reduce this country’s dependency on foreign oil and natural gas and make us more independent from their oil and natural gas.
If this happens, barry will have not only started two more wars, Libya and Uganda, but will start another one in the very region where he claims he wants to pull out of. If his Saudi masters demand a strike, he will bow down and accommodate them.
Without foreign support, these scumbags would all have been dragged out on the streets and butchered like the swines they are by their own peoples a long time ago.
If not that, the absence of modern medications would meant their decimation by STDs, by a "lifestyle" that would make the latter day Roman citizens look like puritans.

The United States has given all the latest military planes and equipment to the Saudis and other so-called allies in the Middle East for years. If they're so afraid of Iran then let them commit to putting some skin in the game. I'm tired of all these third-world countries always willing to send in American troops to fight their own wars. It's time they anted up as well.
That is the problem with Muslims, they will not kill one of their own like that. It does not matter which country they live in they are Muslim first, Saudi, Iranian or Iraqui second.
If we could get the fools in Washington to understand this they would be able to grasp the concept of non-interference. As long as they stayed in their own little part of the world we would leave them alone and they could kill each other all day long. Step outside your back yard and BAM, you are dead. I think they would solve a lot of their internal problems if this were to happen.

I agree, they have no problem killing other Muslims who don't follow their version of Islam, but given the fundamentalist (radical) movement in Saudi Arabia, if they ever bombed Iran it would be game over for the Saudi's. Currently the are trying to tow a middle line of being more democratic (like giving women the right to drive and vote) and appeasing the fundamental Islamists. It would be suicide for Saudi's to attack Iran. The fundamentalists would be pissed it's not Israel they're attacking and the youth would be pissed they are attacking another country (Arab country to boot) at all.
I don't think this attack will take place before Election Day 2012. But in late 2012 or early 2013 I wonder if Obama or Romney or Gingrich will drop some bunker buster bombs on Iran's nuclear facilities? I don't think the U.S. is going to do this attack but think Israel probably will.

As per Charles Krauthammer, Obama nixed the pipline because of money & votes from his enviromental contributers on the left. Obama cares more about getting a second term, than our national security.
