I don't know dan, I think those guy in the wring were way smarter than Mr. 1985...stupid yes...but smarter.
Yet again its the appointees who are ruining the government agencies that are charged with protecting this country. Benghazi will be president quagmires Watergate. It is not going away and it's not been that long ago, as much as this administration and its ass kisser might try.
I agree with Progressive, Congress as a whole have sold their souls for a few beans and trinkets.
Once upon a time, this currently not so great country, (don't believe me, ask the Wookie) used to have a Senate and a Congress who would have started impeachment proceedings after a bold faced lie like this from the Executive Branch. But no more, now they are all clamoring for a private guided tour of AF-1, and an opportunity to service their new lord and master.
Benghazi was like so long ago sez the administration.

I'm not sure that it really matters anymore, from the perspective of saving our country. His presidency may be in trouble, but he doesn't care. It would take too long to actually impeach him - not that it would mean that he would be unseated anyway. Biden will NEVER be put up as the 2016 nominee. So basically - obama has free reign, and knows it.
He and his ilk don't care about public embarrassment and humiliation - look at clinton, weiner, rangel, fauxcohantas warren, maxine waters, pelosi, reid, bawney fwank, the list could go on for pages. It's hard for us to understand because public humiliation would tear us up - but these are NOT normal people. They are mentally ill - narcissists and sociopaths. They have gotten where they are by having no feelings or personal decency and thus being able to do whatever horrid things they need to to others, in order to win. They can compartmentalize the shame the rest of us would feel, if they have any (and most probably don't), and just see that they WON. The tears only come if they are caught and have to give it up.
It's a sick sick society we live in, and no one can or is willing to do anything to stop it.

I agree but at some point our self-selected society/productive class must overcome the progressive coup. It happened post Wilson. post FDR, post LBJ-Nixon-Carter, and I believe it will happen post Obama. I think the recipient class's best days are behind it for a lot of reasons (financial being the biggest). Much of my view is predicated on the immigration bill going down. If it passes, we are doomed. The country can't absorb 30-50 million more welfare recipients by 2050 as some have forecasted based on the existing language in the bill.
The beginning of this has come. With cutbacks in unemployment, the recipients see the writing on the wall. Nothing is forever, especially free money..

Maybe not. The Benghazi whistleblower hearings start next week. BHO's presidency is in trouble and it's getting worse for it with each failed initiative and unraveling of events like the gun control bill and the intelligence failures that led to the Boston bombing.
We can only hope that it stays in the public eye. People are too willing to ignore stuff they don't want to hear, and criticisim of Obama isn't what they want to hear.

Are you starting to get the sense that all of the alphabet soup administration extras, like the CIA, NSA, FBI, HSS, ATF, DEA, FDA, EPA, NEA, the MSM and on and on, blah, blah, blah, blah, are nothing more than useful idiot tools playing the same sappy and stupid tunes this administration orchestrates for them. Can't anybody think for themselves around here? Why do their lips keep moving? We all know they're lying!
