Republican mayor of Lancaster, California wonders if we will survive the upcoming CO2-induced wars.
When asked by New York Times reporter Felicity Barringer if he views global warming as an imminent threat, Parris replied “absolutely.” He continued: “I may be a Republican. I’m not an idiot.”
We beg to differ on both issues. Perhaps next week he’ll announce the City of Lancaster is building an Ark for when that global warming induced sea-level rise hits Lancaster, CA at 2,359 ft above sea-level.

I don't know why he's so worried about rising CO2 levels in Kalifornia, the insuring chaos from the next downgrade and bankruptcy of the state will be far more hazardous to someone's health.
They need a high speed canal from Lancaster to Victorville, at a cost of, oh, a couple hundred billion borrowed dollars. Failure to this will doom the California economy to 3rd World status. Oops. Too late...

A mayor is "hired" to run a city, not make plans for the "war" on climate change or some such bullshit.
