• Just remember:
  When Republicans get more in donations and thus spend more than Democrats, that's "trying to buy the election."
  When Democrats get more and spend more, that's "looking out for the (pick one or more): poor/middle class/union workers/teachers/firefighters/police/grandmas/blacks/Hispanics/gays/women/college student/welfare recipient/seniors/children" blah blah blah blah blah.

• Elrond is correct. The dems will make their election efforts with the same ruthlessness as did the Nazis when invading Russia. For them it's do or die. If another administration comes in and in a true investigation exposes all the underlying corruption that went on the last 3+ years... Romney & crew better be prepared for this no-rules engagement.

  • That's why he needs Col West as his VP.

    • I know you'll think that I've lost my mind but I could get behind
      Bobby Jindel as VP. West is fine but a Congressman doesn't have the political weight that a governor has. Neither will be picked, IMO, but Jindel is ridiculously smart and effective as an executive.

      My prediction is a safe one. Pick a battleground state and then pick a state-wide elected official and that is your logical range of options.

      • Paul Ryan is among the frontrunners, so is Rubio, who I'm not as excited about as I once was.

        • I'm not so sure Rubio is eligible. I know he was born in Florida but at the time his parents were not American citizens.

        • David Petraeus! Drudge has a poll up asking if he would be a good VP pick. I voted yes.

        • A 30 second Google search indicates that since he was born here he is eligible.

        • He's also introducing his own version of the DREAM Amnesty. That really put me off.

        • I like Rubio. He is not ready for President, but I think he would be a good pick for VP. It would give Romney Florida and that would be a knock out blow to Obummer.

• Maybe I'm just biased (nah, no way), but I have a very hard time seeing how Obama wins this thing. Spending, dirty tricks and an Accomplice Media won't change a thing here. The only way he wins is if Romney truly screws up.

  • Fraud. A recent report by non-partisan Pew Charitable Trusts published in February 2012 indicates that approximately 24 million active voter registrations in states across the country – or one out of every eight registrations – are either no longer valid or are significantly inaccurate.

    • And fully 40% of those are DEAD DEMOCRATS!!! ;-)

      • I came across an item that said that the recent Florida voter roll purge removed 56,000 Dems. Same piece mentioned that if they could purge those with NO legal right to vote here that another 180,000 would come off. To be fair, it did not mention the number of Republican registrations and there had to be some, right?

        • I'm sure there are a few hundred Republicans that died within the last year and the last thing on the families mind was cancelling their voters registration. It's just not a concerted effort for fraud like it is on the Dem side.

• Romney is going to need all the money he can get. He's up against an Administration that has a bottomless bag of dirty tricks (hello Harry Reid) and is supported by 90% of the MSM. I predict that this will be the nastiest, dirtiest campaign in modern history, Obama and his Chicago goon squads, the MSM, the unions and OWS will take no prisoners. Look out for October surprises, blackflag operations, widespread voter fraud/intimidation and possible violence. Obama intends to win, he doesn't care how.

  Don't let anyone or anything stop you from voting.
