• Romney shouldn't have cheated Ron Paul out of nomination if he was so concerned about government spending that Paul could have fixed.

  • Empty threats accomplished more in one week than Crowley has in his entire, useless life.

• Well if Romney and others would truly stand up and behind this effort it would. I'm all for shutting it down. Then quagmire can explain the golf outings and junkets while everyone is watching.

• It is my understanding that no one mentioned shutting down the entire government. That is the Democrats' line. What I heard is that they want to fund government just NOT Obamacare which is a completely different situation. I could be mistaken but I think that was Cruz's line right?

• I'm getting very tired of the federal office holders (or aspirants) in the GOP as it is currently constructed. Actually, they've been this way for decades but the sting is getting worse for me.

The perfect oxymoron for a group of fat cats that sit on their every expanding egos and greed while spending tax payer monies without the slightest of concerns (making sure they get their perks first) So what if a corrupt, out of touch, financially irresponsible group of career politicians shut down the government, “ in case anyone has missed the fact that its been broken for a long time”: first due to their incompetence they will cry the effects on Social Security, Medicare, protective services… try the scare tactics and class and race baiting, but nothing will be done or even mentioned to stop the hundreds of millions flowing to illegal’s or the billions going to countries that hate us, “after all obama needs to fund the muslim brotherhood” and holder needs more “fast and furious” monies to flow into the drug lords of South America. They need the monies to pay for the cover-ups and treasonous acts they commit on the American people on a weekly basics “What differences does it make!” A shut down is what we need, to allow enough time to scrape away the slime to see where the monies are going these lying cheats swore an oath to properly manage. Have the head crook at the FED simply print up a few more trillion, using common core mentality it won’t cost at dime (have heard that before) a Government unto itself, for itself and answerable only to the executive branch that is incapable of operating openly and honestly for the betterment of the nation and the people that work and pay taxes!
