• He's running, but has no chance, so why worry?

  • That's what was said about quagmire more than 6 years ago and we all know how that turned out.

• Rubio screwed the pooch when he joined McInsane and Grahmnesty. They used him and made a fool of him. Yet he thinks those who helped get him elected to the U.S. Senate will forget about the gutting he served up. I for one am done with him. Sold out once will do it again. It's just a matter of time. Rubio and all the other go along to get along senators should remember, they are the opposition not the rubber stamp ass kissers

• Get ready for the weak kneed progression of RINOs to get in full swing. They'll be falling all over each other to prove who's the biggest wimp.

• Jindal is not a natural born citizen - so I DO mind if he runs.

• Bobby Jindal would be great if you don't mind he was born in India.

• I agree - the man known as Obama has no claim other than usurper and occupier. I don't call the federal government by that name any more. It's the national government. I don't recognize the country we live in.

• I'm sick that so-called conservatives would consider running not one, but two senators who are not natural born. We should not pattern our elections after the liberals.

  • I agree. I don't think Cruz should be considered eligible, and I'm dubious about Rubio. Nor do I think Obama was eligible. But how silly to think that this is still a constitutional republic. It clearly is not.

    • Rubio was born in Florida. Cruz in Canada. We ran McCain who was born in Panama. Technically Cruz is good to go, but expect to see a challenge to that technicality if his campaign gains traction. Expect that challenge to come from the Jebrinos in a chickenshit backdoor move.

      I could give a dang where either of these guys were born considering they stand for almost everything I've been looking for in a President. The democrats and the majority of my country have installed a two term potus of dubious nationality, I say screw anyone who disagrees with Cruz being eligible for POTUS.

      • Only one of Cruz's parents was a US citizen when he was born, in Canada. He's not a natural born citizen on both counts. Must have both parents be US citizens and born in country (or its territories - as with RINO McCain). Cruz had dual citizenship until recently, showing he had what the founders called divided loyalties and, therefore, not eligible.

        Neither of Rubio's parents were US citizens when he was born - no case can be made that he is eligible.

        The fact that the current occupant of the White House is not qualified or eligible does not mean the GOP can trach the Constitution and do likewise.

        • We can respectfully disagree then. I'm sure they will both be put to a test if they start to rise in the polls. Please don't take offense to my "screw anyone who disagrees" comment in my first post. I was aiming it at democrats and rinos! I guess I could still delete it, but it has been posted for over 10 minutes and read by others..

        • We can, indeed, respectfully disagree - for that I am grateful. I do not understand how one who respects the Constitution can blithely accept native-born citizens as candidates for an office that requires natural-born citizenship.

        • It lies in the definition of natural born. To my knowledge it has not reached scotus yet for a ruling. As it stands or is commonly accepted, we are both correct. Taking that into consideration, I’m ok with it. Our party, with the exception of Rand Paul, has not put forth a candidate that I want to vote for. I’m still not positive Rand will get my vote. I say get Rubio or Cruz in office and get the country unfked. Because the rhinos are going to need someone to tell them “no mas!” Then let scotus make a ruling. Works for me.:P

        • Look out folks. Chubbs has cranked up his machine and is talking of reforming the SS system and entitlements. The media is wet to the knees and gleefully reporting on his campaign. Meanwhile CNN is reporting how and why Rubio lost Latino support.

        • He only lost the illegals.

      • I guarantee that the democrat party will find obama's Kenya birth certificate if they have a promising young foreign born candidate pop up in a few election cycles. They will say the precedent has been set and it was the fault of the rinos for not putting up a stiff enough challenge to obamas citizenship during his first campaign for potus. The genie has been let out of the bottle, lets run the best we have to offer, regardless of the definition of natural born.

        • I'd really like to see the two of them to settle who will be #1 and who will be #2 right now. Join forces and declare right now that they are the Cruz/Rubio ticket. Overwhelm the republican party financially and by popularity. Fighting the establishment separately and they both perish before the primaries hit Texas, again. It's the right move, they guarantee enough of the Hispanic vote to take office.

        • Right - heavy sarcasm. Two ineligible men on the ticket. How wonderful would that be a party that claims to cherish and respect the constitution.
