Obama care is never going to increase access for the poor and seriously ill, which is its intended goal. Becasue the GOvernment beaurocracy will b running it, the bills will not get paid by anyone, and those most in need will be left in the dirt. Hell, they are losing providers left and right because Medicaid doesn't reimburse at a reasonable level. And Medicare is getting to be the samme way. More and more seniors are having trouble finding providers because the procviders don't get reimbursed enough,so they eventually refuse medicare.
So the problem is the Corporate Greed of the providers?
Obamacare was never intended to "work". It's a 'platform' from which to implement things as it's continually found to contain things that cannot possibly function in real life.
Politicians!!! If they aren't saying something painfully stupid, they're saying something else that's blindingly obvious! They really do think that we don't pay attention.
The problem is that the seeds will be sown. Has ANY government program ever ended unless it was replaced by a bigger, more comprehensive one? So, when Obamacare implodes, medical care will not go back to private hands - it will be gutted and refitted by the government.
I believe that's the idea anyway. For the next few years, doctors and hospitals will continue to be allowed to get "rich". Once the "impending crisis" hits, they will all become government employees, and all get the same paycheck (equality! man!).
It will collapse and we'll be buried under a pile of debt with a wrecked medical system.
Yeah? And in the process it's going to collapse a lot of Doctors, Senior Citizens, and private Health Insurance policies.
