I've only been called once, and true to my usual luck it was a push poll. After about a minute I asked the lady how she obtained a unlisted number that also happened to be on the federal do not call list. Never heard back from them.
I have had a bunch of them here in Kalifornia, Apparently they are leftists because every time I would answer they would ask "Clarifying" questions. so I screwed with them, when I answered the way a liberal turd would, they don't ask those questions..Even though my number is unlisted and on the do not call list another poll called three times yesterday, I answer in German and they hang up...Next time I am going to blow my duck call....
Gee, maybe the reason the conservatives are avoiding the polling is because they are WORKING their butts off in order to make a living, since the median income has dropped by over 3000 dollars since king O has been on the throne.
Dims, on the other hand, apparently wait for the phone given to them by the government to ring so they can gush and profess worship of obummer in order to get more "free" things.
I would live in the gutter before I would take one government hand out. It is sad that whole cultures in our country are built on it.

I've had caller-ID since it became available here in the early 90s. I know I have been called by Quinnipiac and Fairleigh Dickinson University polling and I never answer them. I also never answer callers who block their number or are unidentified because they're usually sales types but could be pollers (who knows?) If they're actually a regular person needing to talk to me, they'd leave a message but they never do.
As JP Travis said, I get to vote. I've voted in every election since 1976 - even the local ones. I will be there this year unless I get carried off to a distant planet by the aliens. I will not be voting for Romney as much as I will be voting NOOOOOOBAMA. And yes, I would be voting for Ron Paul if he were the alternative, but he's not. Kicking Obama out is job 1.

I'm one of them...they called me and I told the guy I don't do polls, he proceeded to ask questions anyway so I hung up on him. Then I got a call from the NCDC asking me to help get Obama re-elected and I hung up on them too.

I've always wondered about this. As I approach 60 and have never been polled once, never been asked what TV programs I like, and only been called one time - a quarter century ago - for jury duty, I feel like as far as opinion goes, mine doesn't matter. I get to vote, that's it.
Hmm, maybe it's because I tell unknown callers, "Never call this f-ing number again or I'll reach through the line and strangle you." Yeah, maybe that's it.
Guess who got polled today. Yes, I did. A robot started asking questions and I hung up, which makes me wonder if I haven't been polled previously but hung up as soon as I heard the recording start. Anyway, I'm so proud that someone finally wanted my opinion... even though I didn't give it to them. Hey, I got shit to do - I'm not some liberal loser with no life.
I encourage them to go on with their spiel, as I set the phone down and do something useful.
Or with the live ones, I just mess with their heads, providing I have the time and nothing better to do.
I have been known to ask them questions they have to look up on their computer, and then when their computer acts slow, "help" them to open the case and reseat cards and stuff.
I got polled about gun control one time. I could tell the woman asking the questions was really getting pissed off at my answers. That was fun. I have a feeling I got put on the libtard black list because I haven't had a poll call me since about 1980.

Should actually say this: The sample in polls has become more Democrat leaning because the media is in the tank for Obama and the liberals, and they are hoping to demoralize the conservatives, and take advantage of the "winning team" philosophy - that some voters actually want so badly to be on the winning side that they will use that to make their decision.
