  OK, lets agree to disagree and we shall see where the chips fall once all of the hype and the Al Sharpton et al driven emotion goes away.

  But when one has an opinion and expresses the same it can get hot in the kitchen....for both sides of the equation.

  You make my point. You have no facts just belief's. The police have the facts and the eye witness reports of Zimmerman having the crap beaten out of him and found that there was no case to answer for.

  Just consider for one moment that the authorities decide to arrest and charge because of media hype and second guessing. Plenty of reasonable doubt but we are going to nail you anyway. This lynch mob rule crap is just that crap.

  It's the same sort of behaviour these pages complain about with Obione and co...and here we are condoning the same sort of behaviour. IMOHP of course.

  • We are in echec. I wrote this statement but at this point in time I am sick of this story and I dont want to talk about it any longer. I am sick of Zimmerman and I am sickof the liberals and I am sick of having an opinion and being maligned about it. I dont come to this site for that sh*t. I come to this site for something else and I am not getting it. If this site doesn't start doing something about it I am going to have to leave for a while.

    No I didn't make your point, you are all over the place. Your assessment was that I was talking about people who killed in self defense. I wasn't, because I do not believe that Zimmerman killed Martin in self defense. If I do not believe that, I couldn't have possible involved those that do kill in self defense in my post. You were ascribing a thought to me that I did not have.

    I have stated many times ONCE AGAIN that these are indeed my opinions and beliefs based on the facts that have come out of the situation and are still coming out. So you are not making any points there, as I have stated that already.

    Actually the facts state that that was their belief (he was innocent), however the facts also stated that the parents wanted a full investigation because there was something wrong with Zimmerman's story: That he was attacked for no reason by Martin. The parents requested the 911 calls and they also requested for him to be arrested and/or for an investigation on Zimmerman and the events of that evening. They were essentially denied. It took several weeks for the 911 tapes to be released, once they were, the parents realized that Zimmerman was following Martin, if he was then that meant that Zimmerman if anything started a confrontation. If indeed Martin beat him up, Zimmerman realized it was a fight he couldn't win and shot Martin. The parent's point and many others is that if a person STARTS a confrontation that they cannot win and gets the upper hand by shooting the person they confronted first they shouldn't have to get away with the killing just because they didnt win the fight that they instigated in the first place. Do you understand?

    Now we have reports that Martin's body may have had no defensive nor offensive wounds, also reports that the eye witness may have lied, the lead investigator did not believe Zimmerman and he was overruled by the Chief of Police who has resigned so that is why Zimmerman was not fully investigated. Coupled with the fact that Zimmerman's Father is a judge and he has gotten away with police beefs in the past it makes Zimmerman more suspect. Many times police have failed to investigate someone because on the surface it seemed to be something else to find the person was guilty. It can happen.

    Actually there WAS NO MEDIA HYPE for over 25 days since it happened. The media hype is rather recent, so if they had arrested him it wouldn't have been due to the media hype that was unexistent at the time. No one in this site has a lynch mob rule mentality. I am not asking for him to die or anything like that. From the beginning I have asked for him to be fully investigated which was not happening, so I dont understand why are you so upset. As for those outside of this site that have lynch mob mentality get upset with them about it and get in their face about it.

    We complain about Obama but we are not lynch mob about it, that is out of control statement.

  That line kind of jumped out at me! The police made a mistake in letting him go but you can't tell me the warning signs weren't there years back. This little bastard had been in trouble before {forgive me for jumping to that conclusion} and could have been "helped", dealt with or put away in the past. I would like to see his school and criminal records.

• I am surprised the British media hasn't made this big so it will hit over here. I guess they have a lot of things to deal with like being overrun by Muslims. I really do feel bad for this. Thankfully they will get justice, something that I hope everyone else who died at the hands of another person gets.

    • I dont know who you are newsel, but you certainly have no idea what you are talking about. I have made it very clear, many times that I dont believe Zimmerman's story, since I don't I am obviously not talking about self defense issues, in fact I believe that this particular case had nothing to do with gun laws or anything like that. All I want is a throughout investigation becuase it wasn't done over 30 days ago when this first happened. Since that night there were questions about Zimmermam's story and the parents wanted to know more and they were denied by the police and the district attorney and hence this escalated to this point. When there are questions they should be answers, Zimmerman's case is not that clear cut as he shot in self defense, because there is evidence of the contrary. It WOULD BE CLEAR if Martin was INSIDE Zimmerman's house with Zimmerman's stuff inside his pocket and a weapon of some kind, at that point in time it is obvious that if Zimmerman shot him it was in self defense.

        Some that die at the hands of another do not always deserve someone elses idea of "justice". Maybe they were killed as a result of their own actions.....the Tyson case is not the referance point in this discussion.

        • The REASON Bonfire posted THIS story was in response to the overyhyped (and I do agree it is) hysteria in the media about this one case (Martin-Zimmerman). This case even though it happened in the same state did not get the national news that this other case got. It is a valid point, and I do feel bad for the victims and I am happy that they and their families will have justice because the case was completely investigated and due process was met. Since I believe that the Martin-Zimmerman case was not completely investigated and due process was not met because I do not believe Zimmerman's story as I stated already, then I hope that justice is also achieved in that case. My post if anything was in direct response to the reasoning in posting THIS story, which I believe in truth would have NOT been posted if the Martin-Zimmerman case was not an issue.

  Where I live we have teen girls (caucasion) being insulted by teachers (black), physically bullied by classmates(black). We have male and female students (caucasion) being verbally assaulted and blamed for lynchings that happened in the 1920's by their teachers(black). We have a teen boy(caucasion) soaked in gasoline and set on fire in his own front yard by classmates(black).

  NOT A SINGLE WORD!!! Not a word from the media, not a word from any of the "authorities"...hell, even the crickets are silent.

• A little nuance here, please. The thing in Florida that's causing all the ruckus is where a "white" gun toting vigilante killed a black man who, according to reports propagated in the media, was just minding his own business and was going for ice cream - AND THE POLICE REFUSED TO ARREST HIM. A sensitive point for the race sensitive since it echos the KKK days.

  It isn't about black on white or white on black crime. Using that as some kind of argument actually plays into their hands. The above story is about a black on white crime where the perps were arrested and tried and will be punished. NOT AN ANALOGOUS SITUATION.

  The correct reaction is to evaluate the facts of the case - which at this point seem to say the shooter was being physically attacked - and to point out the criminal race baiting that's happening. Going into 'Hey look - more blacks attack whites" mode is off target and counter productive and puts you, in effect, on the same team as the race hucksters.

  • If you read between the lines of the story regarding the convicted black murderer, I think you may deduce that the two British tourists were in fact gay lovers.
