If you read the article, some of his fellow Saudis are making pretty much the same point. "Hey, dude, this fatwa makes us look bad."

Makes sense to me. When Arab females are infants and children, they look better than goats.

At the time that "rule" was established, pretty much ALL women were covered and veiled. Hell look at traditional nun's habits, or the dress for a common woman in England or Europe in the dark ages. Frankly if the men are such animals that they are aroused by babies and young children, they should be shot on site. Wouldn't be a bad move here in the US either.

You are correct. And therein is the real problem. Much of the world has evolved from "that time". The Arab world? Not so much. At this time, it seems they are working really hard at staying in the 10th century.
If Shiekh Daoud really wants to prevent the sexual assault of children, he should recommend that Arab boys should also be fully veiled.
Or castrated.
