There can be no dialogue when you’ve assumed the authority regulate the speech of those with whom you disagree. There can be no room for moderation when the demand you want satisfied is the extermination of free expression. And the reasonable person has no choice but to remain in ideological conflict with extremists and autocrats like this Saudi Arabian that believes an accident of birth has given him the right to control other men.

The Muslims don't give a damn about "insults" to any religion but their own; their words and their action prove that. Basically they want a free pass to assault (verbally and physically) Christians, Jews, Hindus or anyone else they deem inferior while at the same time demanding (and getting) the utmost groveling respect. Blow us up and we'll apologize to some crazed imam; it happens all the time, whenever there's a Muslim terrorist attack the press warns us agianst "Islamophobia".

Their "religion" says that their religion must rule the world. They call it a "religion", we would call such a thing "a totalitarian ideological movement" in the absence of a bunch of fools (such as Barack Obama and his party) calling it a religion. We have to stop thinking of it as a religion and start thinking about it as it really is. The word "religion" has connotations for us which clearly confuse the issue for us.

yeah, it's kind of hard to work with that. Worse though - their "religion" also says that literally ANYTHING is acceptable behavior in the quest to rule the world. Murder, rape, thieving, lying, manipulating, even pretending to worship another God/"religion" is fair behavior. EVEN cursing or mocking Allah is OK so long as it's "for the cause". That makes it impossible for others to ever know what is happening.
A black man with a muslim name who claims to Christian, even though he can quote from the Koran in perfect Arabic, and who has blocked all record of himself that might identify his religion, always seemed like a shaky bet to me.

Piss on the Saudi King. It is just fine for his religion to attack mine and attempt to stone anyone who converts to Christianity, while those of us who are Christians don't stone and announce a death sentence for anyone who converts to Islam. It is time for those who practice Islam to get over themselves and accept the fact that some people select not to practice their faith and wish to practice their own.
