  • Walker isn't the only one to shit in his nest, Ted Cruz is right behind him. The only candidate I have heard come out against the entire Obummertrade mess is Carly Fiorina. Y'all check out the interview she did with Bret Baier on Center Seat last night. It's on FoxNews but I don't know how to do the cut paste thing to get it here.

    The more she says, the better I like her.

      • All of us screw up from time to time but we are not running for President and when we shit the bed it doesn't have an effect on the American worker or our economy.

            I think I turned on a computer the first time about 1998 or so but never have messed with them much. When my ex gave me my first one it took me a month to figure out how to set up an email account on Yahoo. I had an XP for years but it finally kicked the bucket last year so I bought this Windows 8. It took me years to learn how to do stuff on the XP, it will take me years to learn how to do stuff on this one, about the time it goes out of date I'll have it down pat.

          • Windows 8 is a horrible thing to do to people who have learned how to use a computer.
            The best thing I can tell you to do is to download a program called Classic Shell. It will allow you to use your Windows 8 computer much more like an XP machine.

            My neighbor is much more savvy than I am so I better ask her to help me live and in person. It will give me a chance to ogle her, too bad her husband is a good friend! (snicker)

          • Like Flash said, it only allows you to run the Operating System (OS) in a way that makes sense to you. It won't screw up anything, in fact I use AVG and Spybot, without any problems.
            As far as Win 8 updates, I don't ever allow any OS to update on it's own. I pick and choose what updates to allow, and I usually wait a minimum of 3 months from the release date before I do the update, because by then, they should have worked out all the bugs.

          • I held off for a LONG time before allowing the update. The next time I rebooted, blue screen. I had a highly skilled friend retrieve the important files, wipe it clean, and install 7.

          • Classis Shell only modifies the operating system, to help it make sense. One hint on windows 8, never, I mean NEVER, allow it to update. The updates have caused a LOT of crashes.

  • Follow the money eh Scott? I have more sympathy for drug addicted street walkers then career politicians.

    This "OH we must pass it so you can see it" is right from the Bolsheviks and the Nazis. This country was created because of such BULL SHIT!!! Now the so called elite and enlightened ones feel as if "We the People" should be trampled upon and looked down upon as if we are surfs.

    There needs to be term limits on every last person associated with Congress. What we have now are 537 individuals who are the prince, princesses, potentates and rulers of the masses. It is our fault for this mess.

  • I really think 2/3 of what elected officials do is to make themselves richer - I cannot fathom why so many people who usually can't agree on the temperature in the room they are in are agreeing to this, other than 'multiplies their wealth.'

  • Very disappointing. This paragraph from the link says it all:

    So basically Walker has no idea what he's talking about since he, like the rest of us, isn't allowed to see what's in these pig-in-a-poke trade deals. In other words, he must have been paid off for his endorsement.
