I think that "reasonable suspicion" constitutes "prediction" in some circumstances. I even knew people growing up that should have had a search warrant executed on a weekly basis, as their committing crimes was as predictable as "water is wet".
However, what happened here wasn't "prediction". This was a plain old "fishing expedition", and should have been tossed out of court. It wasn't a prediction, since they already had invaded the premises, found something, and knew they needed to put a fig leaf over their sh*tty law enforcement practices.
I think that the dissenting opinion used hyperbole, when the naked facts were more ugly than that.

Yes, and they always have. Sorry folks, bogus story here, aside from "entry without a warrant." That line is part of a snarky dissent which completely ignores the valid concept that you can still can get a warrant and bust somebody if there is evidence of intent to commit some further felony, this is what sometimes goes under the proper meaning of "conspiracy." You don't have to have somebody out distributing crack or meth on the sidewalks before you can nail them for intending to manufacture and distribute the stuff.
I forsee the conservative Americans being accused of crimes not yet committed by the insane liberal clown possee.....
