SEC charges ex-Fannie, Freddie CEOs with fraud

SEC charges ex-Fannie, Freddie CEOs with fraud. We suggest if convicted they be cellmates of Bernie Madoff. They can all take turns screwing each other, which is what they all love to do to us taxpayers.

CO2Insanity: Tired of the CO2 BS and all the other BS in the US and the world.

  • More smoke and mirrors to hide the fact that both of these housing assistance programs are still loosing billions every month. Of course it could help explain why both Dodd and Fwank have, or are going to retire.

  • I would prefer stocks in the center of a town in the center of the country so that we would all have the opportunity to take a piece of them. Sounds a little mid evil but I certainly don't believe these people deserve any sort of humane punishment given the very nature of the crimes and the vast extent of the damage done. I would also love to see the likes of Chris Dodd, Barney Frank, et. al. locked up in the town square with them. Don't you liberals even dare say George Bush.

  • The story says "civil fraud" which, if correct, means they won't be seeing Bernie unless they go for a visit. It's better than nothing and could lead to bigger things if some new facts come out. I'd like to see them point fingers at Dodd, Frank and the other congressional idiots who enabled this.

    • I agree. I truly hope that Dodd and Frank get theirs as well. Unfortunately since it is the Feds doing the prosecuting, they will most likely be told to lay off and Mudd and Syron get a light slap on the wrist and get to keep most of the money they swindled in exchange for not fingering Dodd and Fwank. Then the SEC says, "See. We really showed those guys."
I hope I am wrong, but.....
