  • But as one talking head said to day, 1 guy out of line is one think, But 11 guys out of line is a problem. ANd that is exactly why I doubt the truth of this. While I don't necessarily doubt that the SS guys could be tempted by prostitutes, the idea that they ALL were SOOOO out of line behaviourally is a little shady.

          • I have military service from nearly every male member of my family back before the American Revolution. My Brother in law was a POW for 6 years in Hanoit Hilton, and my other brother in law died after receiving injuries in VietNam. His name has been added to the Viet Nam memorial. I have 2 daughters, and a son that volunteered, but was turned down (Ear drum damage.) And we all support programs state side for thse who DID go. You can tell its Sunday and Mitch's pharmacy is closed, and no one will admit to being his shrink.

          • I did. US Naval Officer. Achieved rank of Commander. 1140 designator. Served in Desert Storm. No service whatsoever in the the current Iraq War. I use the exact term 1140 because the Navy calls it spec ops. But, when I used that term on this site, an asshole accused me of impersonating a Seal (1130 designator, termed as special warfare v. special ops in Naval lexicon). Wikipedia has a good explanation of Naval Warfare Designators.
