  • When this comes to a city near you, listen for the bitching from those who got their "pink" slips for being greedy and demanding $15.00 per hour. Then look around to see where your union leaders are when you are being escorted to the door. The union bosses and recruiters won't be anywhere to be seen. They will be busy eating at some place that charges $100.00 for lunch. Laughing their asses off at the poor smucks that are now out of work.

    Some dip shit will try to introduce a bill to mandate that only so many robots and auto ordering devices can be used in an establishment.

      • Between Atlas Shrugged and 1984, things are getting way too real.
        The problem is, too many of the people that read these, don't recognize what is happening. If they were aware, they might actually care enough to do something about it. To a point, even Animal Farm is manifesting itself, in the House and Senate.

    • The unions in Kalifornia are already asking for an exemption in L.A.'s new wage increases, even though they backed the changes. Hypocrisy in action or what?

  • Liberal loons have never understood, you get what you asked for. Clowns who have no education, no job skills, nothing but working in a burger joint or stocking shelves in a grocery store, do not deserve $15 per hour.

    But, they got what they asked for, a trip to the unemployment line because of their unreasonable demands.

    Robots don’t require breaks to have a smoke, go to the bathroom, eat, etc. They also don’t sit around playing with their phone, making calls, Facebook posts, texting, checking email, Twit, Facetime, and all the other stupid stuff. They don’t get burned by being careless with the fryer or coffee machine, so there is no workman’s comp insurance to pay, and if you get rid of (fire or lay off) one, you don’t have to pay unemployment. You also don’t have to match their Social Security and Medicare payments, give them paid holidays or vacations, and they won’t ask for a raise, or strike for more money than they’re worth. If a robot can do a fast food worker’s job, then they are the most economical alternative.

  • $15 per hour? Meet your replacement.....Won't call in sick, won't be rude, won't talk on the phone, won't have an attitude, does not need Obamadeathcare or days off to attend a hip hop show.

    The only problem I see is low intelligence voters not being able to use it to order because they are common core graduates...

    • The leftist cities that enact ridiculous minimum wage laws will get it first, then as the bugs are worked out of the technology, and more machines are produced, and more technicians hired and trained, it will spread to the rest of the country.

      Then, just as we suffer for the stupidity of leftist voters, the entire unskilled workforce can suffer from the stupidity of their own left wing.
