Bonfire of the Absurdities: After 35 year career writing software for IBM mainframes, am now self-employed contractor thinking of joining a union and striking for higher wages. I lived in Chicago till I was 32. Trust me, for a Chicago politician he's not strange. Awful, yes.Ridiculous, yes. But by Chicago standards, hardly strange or unique. The sad thing is, Chicago is without a doubt one of the most beautiful cities in the world, but unless you're rich or well connected to the Democrat machine, a tough place to live.

  You know, I have been to Chicago a bunch of times. I have some friends who live there and I enjoy it. I have a buddy from home here who played at Notre Dame and he was spending the summer in Chicago with an ND teammate, on the South Side. I was there and I told my buddy that I would drive down and meet up with them for a couple Biers, they told me no. I said, it's no big deal. I don't mind driving down. It took them a few times of saying no until they finally told me "NO...you can't drive down here by yourself....you are white." It was a bit of a slap in the face, not from them, but rather because I had never had that trouble before, anywhere.

Obama pisses on anyone that can't contribute to his agenda. He has no conscience and never has. even Mooch-EL can't stand him. That's why she gets away from him every opportunity she can. But she has no right to tell our troops what the hell they can eat and if fat people want to enlist then they need to lose weight.
