Bonfire of the Absurdities: After 35 year career writing software for IBM mainframes, am now self-employed contractor thinking of joining a union and striking for higher wages.   • It makes me happy when Obama shows his childish petulance to the whole world. Sadly, people will misread that as outrage, but he showed no real outrage on Monday did he?

      What he displayed on Monday was pure contempt. He acted like it was a huge bother to him to even have to respond to the terror attacks. There was no room for he or his spin cycle to try and claim work place violence or some other cooked up response and claim. It took him more than 24 hours to make the statement that the terror attacks where indeed terror attacks and carried out by a terrorist or terrorists.

      Now he and the wookie are in Boston trying to fake concern and sympathy for those that where killed and injured. POS both.

      • I couldn't watch him this morning. I just cannot stand him talking because I know that he doesn't really give a crap. I have no respect for these people and all I could think is that he is taking an opportunity to get his face out there. Yes I give him props for drone strikes, but what else is he doing to avoid these things from happening?

    • Egads. I was just leaving to get some lunch, and you plant THAT picture in my mind. Now I'm going to have to stop by Home Depot to fantasize over tools for a while before the Chinese Buffet.

  • Oh my what's happened to that bi-partisan agreement to infringe upon the 2nd Amendment rights of law abiding citizens? Manchin and Toomey may even vote against it now to save face.

    What's even better is that Senator Ayotte has an alternative plan to address the under lying issues and not exploiting the victims and survivors.

    Without a doubt Dirty Harry and Chuckles Schumer will be bitching how the right wing of the Republican Party has been compromised by the NRA and other gun owners. They both can go straight to hell.

  • Heitkamp's only evolution has been on same-sex marriage, because, on the 2A issue, North Dakotans are heavily armed.

    On that topic she's wise enough to remain what the left would consider "Neanderthal."
