Interesting take (and devious), and an angle I missed. Kinda like the publishing world's version of "First!" in the poo meeting prop department. They just didn't wait til he abdicated.
This makes me wonder how many tell-all books are already in the works, and waiting for the corrupt one to step down from his throne before their release. It also makes me wonder how many evil, immoral, and unscrupulous things going on right now that could be stopped--or at least exposed--if these future authors had the balls and inclination to do so.

Flake is just angry because Gates called him and his fellow senate RINO's what they are, as in fucking useless.
It is bad form, there's no doubt about it. But after the bazillion former Bush administration officials who cashed in with critical books, that ship has sailed. How many books has Colin Powell written now? (I looked it up - six.) He published his latest criticism of Bush in a book just a year or so ago. During Bush's last two years it seemed like there was a book every other week throwing trash at the guy. So, it seems to me Flake should be saying, "How do you like it?"
