What he doesn't get is that the people have spoken! Senators and Representatives have listened to their constituents and they have acted accordingly. That is NOT a shameful thing, it is the way the system is supposed to work. That Obama would say something like this exposes his ignorance and his childish behavior.

Never heard from anyone how that would have prevented Sandy Hook and it was nothing but the first step to full registration and we all know where that ends up.
It wouldn't have stopped it at all. The checks in place caught Lanza and prevented him from purchasing a firearm. He used a firearm that his mother purchased.
He never tried to purchase a firearm. He had a houseful to choose from that his mother bought for him as gifts and for her own use.
Full registration x disarmed citizens - their wealth = starving peasants who are easy to control
