And of course, virtually NONE of the Senior citizens qualify. I make around $1200 monthly on disability. My rent is nearly $700 nd then I have medical bills, utilities etc. I get $11.00 in food Stamps. I was told that is the maximum for most seniors. So tell me the younger kids who ARE able to work aren't getting a boatload more food stamps than ANY senior!
How the hell do you stay alive on that? You need a raise Young lady....I'll buy a lotto ticket this week, if I win you get half..:)
Thanks so much. My income is ne of the reasons I get annoyed with upper middle class folks ( one in particular) who come in here and tell me I don't understand what the poor are going through. I know. And I see the abuses of the programs intended to help every day of my life. Come live with me for a month, and I'll open your eyes!

Gotta wonder how many of them were/are on food stamps so they can protest the "1%" who pay for their food stamps.
