Heck, all the doctor had to do was treat the guy with his left hand and everything would have been A-Okay...but hey, some people just can't think outside of the box!

Eww. But yes. They spray water at the situation first but then they rub it clean with their left hand. Thankfully, they eat with their right hand so if you're sharing one of those meals where the food sits in the middle and everybody reaches in with their bare hands and pulls pieces of meat off--sometimes, if it's a good piece, shoving it into the person next to you's mouth--at least they aren't using their shit cleaning hand. I saw Anthony Bourdain deal with that once, someone shoving a piece of meat in his mouth. I personally don't care what your customs are--if you try to shove a piece of meat in MY mouth you might end up with a broken arm.
Muslims insist their toilet habits are better than ours, but every hospital and every restaurant in the civilized world has trouble getting Muslim employees to wash their damn hands and stop spreading disease. So I remain unconvinced.
