What I find frightening is tha we start harping on our kids to get decent education so they can get a decent job. Then they look look att the people IN this ecent jobs, and even the really good jobs, and theyr are held by convicted felons, murderers, idiots like Jackson, McKinney that that stupid man who thought an entire ISAND would tiop over if the Marnes were sent there! No wonder most of them decide that the annoyance,time, and money spent on education isn't worth it!~

It is the EFFECTS of racism that has caused this problem. I mean soft bigotry that has evolved by the manipulation of government to give freebies to poor people (which usually equates to black people) that has helped to dumb down an entire segment of the population.
Jackson-Lee could never be elected in a jurisdiction with mostly working-class people. (Except perhaps in San Francisco, but they are not even close to reality.) Her stock in trade is people who are too scared of losing the crumbs that big brother gubmint has been giving them, that they cling to angry, bitter representatives to keep up the pressure for them getting their "free" stuff.
So, WE see a horrid, stupid, racist woman, but her people see a woman who fights for them, who pats their heads and tells them they are the bestestest at everything, and who makes sure that they get their "paycheck" every month.
These people vote for the person who will give them the goodies. They couldn't care less about federal budgets, gun control (or most any other kind of) laws, drone strikes, job benefits, tax cuts, etc. They can only see as far as their "credit card" that magically gets refiled every month and their free cell phone and internet.
They aren´t innocent victims of liberal schemes, this is no slavery or jihad, no one force-drafted, threatened and chained them into it.
Rather, they bought it, hearts and minds, of their own free will.
In Nov 2012, they decided they would stick to their decision.
Surprise! The news was airing a story today about how the free cell phone program just might have been misused by scammers. Well DUH!
SJL is one of the reasons I'm glad Houston is in my rear window. Houston politics is all racially charged BS with no substance. I got to see this woman rise from judge appointee, to city council, to where she is now. She played the race card every time she didn't get what she wanted then and will continue to do so, as it's all her hate filled mind can comprehend.
Now I get San Antonio politics. It's all brother in law based BS, but at least nobody screams racism. Well we have one, but nobody listens to her around here!
