  • The MSM and every government mouthpiece is backing the hell away from this claim. So much is happening it snuck by them for a while, but now they are vehemently denying any prior warning.

    • Didn't the Islamic terrorists themselves warn that they would be acting up on 9/11? So Obama has a gay ambassador in an Islamic theocracy of his own making, and nobody with loaded weapons to protect him? Seems almost like Obama WANTED this to happen.

        I'm assuming you mean that Chris Stevens is gay. I didn't know that.

            Most U.S. diplomats are being evacuated, and the embassy will likely go on lockdown. The security measures, coupled with the reduction in bandwidth, will seriously hamper the ability of U.S. officials to meet with their Libyan counterparts and access Libyan society at large.

            Bandwidth? Is he using that the way I think he is? Do you think U.S. officials rely that much on social media to "access Libyan society at large"? Seems pretty weak if that's the best we've got. That or I'm missing something.

          • I didn't think it meant bandwidth in context of datagrams or network throughput. I thought it just referred to their capacity as an organization to interact with Libyan gov and people.

          • OK, you think he used it figuratively, makes sense that way. Was driving myself crazy looking at only the other way.

          • I heard the Government asked google to shut down the film supposed to have triggered all this ( I personally don't think it did) and it was off line for a little while. Then google put it back saying it didn't violate any of its terms of use. So for a short while it was unavailable in some areas.

        • I was wondering the same. It makes no difference, but I went looking for a wife/kids to pray for, and there was nothing listed.

          Doubtful he had a partner - male or female. That life is really tough. My former BIL was an ambassador, and when they were in Europe it was fine - he had the family there and it was all good. But when he was promoted to a dangerous country - the family came back to DC, and he went it alone. And then the marriage broke up. I understand that divorce at that point is very common. I know he didn't have much contact with them because he was concerned for their safety, even in the US, and it's hard to keep up a family like that.

    After giving a bloodless, perfunctory speech, Obama's next reaction to the terrorist attacks was to fly off to Las Vegas for a fund raiser. Meanwhile Hillary was apologizing for hurt Muslim feelings.

    I've never seen such a disgraceful reaction to a terrorist attack.

Yet it was the hildabeast who gave a speech at an Upstate NY college stating "It’s our right to disagree with this administration and our patriotic duty to do so". Humorous now that her words are coming back to haunt her screeching ass.

    barry claims to have gotten bin laden, yet he can not even notify a consulate that it is a target of an attack. barry if you want to claim success for the bin laden killing, you have to take the blame for the mess in Benghazi and the death of 4 more Americans on your watch.

  • This is the first scandal that O cannot hide from. He cannot have DOJ stonewall it. Axelrod cannot spin it for him. His propagandists in the media cannot cover for him here (not that they aren't trying). This disaster is too big to ignore/lie/cover. It is a direct result of his administration's policies, arrogance, and ignorance and he finally cannot hide from responsibility for one of his screw-ups. And Hilary 2016 gets a share of the blame too. Finally, for all to see, the Emperor has no clothes.

      I'm not thrilled with Romney but think his victory would bring at least three great goods.

      1.)Obama's effort to repeal religious liberty and compromise the consciences of people of faith would be halted and rolled back.
      2.)Corporate America would stop sitting on their money with apprehension and uncertainty as to what Obama will do next and get the economy moving again.
      3.)Foreign countries and enemies will realize that daddy is back in the White House

      • Personally, i don't think Al Qaeda will be anymore intimidated by Romney than Obama, Bush, or Clinton. Why would they be? Islamic Jihad wasn't afraid of Reagan either. That was Iran backed, and we just sold weapons to both sides in their war. I remember wondering if my father's eyes were tearing up when the news of 241 dead Marines & servicemen showed up on the news during breakfast. Then he had to lumber off to work..

        Half of their attackers are suicidal. There is a reason we joke about virgin goats in Paradise. Fear is irrelevent. Londoners just got angry and resolved during the Blitz, which is exactly the opposite effect of what Hitler wanted.

    • If we are not at the moment, it won't be long till someone pulls the term from their nether regions. Personally, I am fine with it. I can put the award on the wall next to my "racist", "birther" and "sexist" trophies. They are like the participation awards - they mean nothing, but they are shiny things, so it's all good.
